Brian was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, where he studied at Osgoode Hall Law School. After graduating with honors, he spent several years as a corporate lawyer working with top firms in the city. During this time, Brian developed expertise in mergers & acquisitions and contract negotiations. His legal work gained him recognition from clients, colleagues, and peers alike.

In 2008, Brian decided to open his own practice in Toronto. Since then, he has earned the trust of many organizations both private and public by providing sound legal counsel to support their growth objectives. His expansive portfolio includes multinational corporations, start-up companies, financial institutions, real estate developers and government agencies—all of whom have come to rely on his insight in contentious litigation matters or complex transactional projects.

In addition to his legal acumen, Brian is also highly regarded for his commitment to pro bono service and community engagement initiatives. Over the years, he has served on several boards of non-profit organizations focused on economic development and social justice initiatives throughout Canada and beyond. He also regularly volunteers his time to teach law classes at leading universities across the country.

Outside of work, Brian is an avid sports fan; he enjoys playing tennis and golf as well as watching professional hockey games with friends every now and then. In 2017 he ran (and completed!) a half marathon -- proof that dedication can take you far!
